What is the Plant Waste Bin?The Plant Waste Bin is a container specially designed to collect organic waste such as fruit and vegetable peelings, leftovers, coffee grounds, tea bags, etc.... This waste is then transformed into compost, a natural and ecological fertilizer that can be reused to enrich the soil and promote plant growth.
How it works Each mobile home is equipped with a clearly identified and easily accessible plant waste garbage can. Campers will be encouraged to use this garbage can to dispose of their organic waste, rather than throwing it away with the household garbage. Once full, the garbage can is emptied into a dedicated composter on the campsite.

Composting organic waste has many benefits for the environment. As well as reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, it produces a natural, nutritious fertilizer for plants, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and contributing to soil health and biodiversity.
